A Note From the Founder

I didn’t start BI SmartStudio™ with a big team or a big plan. I started it the same way many small business owners start anything meaningful — by trying to solve my own problems first.

Years ago, I built a simple rental property dashboard for myself. It began with nothing more than raw monthly transactions — messy, unstructured, and scattered. I cleaned and transformed the data, modelled it in Power BI, and turned it into a clear, powerful dashboard that showed my annual rental income, expenses, profit, and the KPIs that actually mattered.

That small project changed everything. It showed me how powerful clarity can be. How a few well‑designed numbers can turn stress into confidence. And how much easier decisions become when the guesswork disappears.

At the same time, I kept seeing the same struggle everywhere: small business owners drowning in data but starving for insight. They had numbers, spreadsheets, reports — but no clarity. No direction. No confidence.

My background helped me see the gap clearly. With experience in Power BI, SQL, Python, project management (PMP), and degrees in Psychology and Commerce & Administration, I realised I was in a unique position to help. I understood the technical side, but I also understood people — how they think, how they make decisions, and how overwhelming unclear information can feel.

So I started building tools that made things simple.

One dashboard turned into two. Two turned into a system. And before long, BI SmartStudio™ became more than a personal project — it became a mission.

Today, BI SmartStudio™ is still a one‑person studio, crafted with intention and care. Every template is built by hand. Every layout is tested. Every feature has a purpose. Because I know what it feels like to run a business and not have the clarity you need — and I know how powerful it is when you finally do.

My goal is simple: to give small business owners the confidence to make smarter decisions, grow with purpose, and understand their numbers without stress or confusion.
