I built this for you.
I'm a data analytics professional and NZ property investor. For years, I managed my own rental portfolio the way most investors do — a sprawling Excel spreadsheet, inconsistent numbers, and a constant feeling that I didn't really know my position.
When I started building dashboards for corporate clients as a contractor, I realised something uncomfortable: the analytical clarity I was creating for businesses with thousands of employees simply didn't exist for everyday NZ property investors like me.
So I built it. BI SmartStudio™ started as a personal project — a Power BI dashboard I built for my own portfolio. When other investors asked for access, I knew there was something here worth sharing.
Every product in this store is built on the same principles I apply to my own investments: clarity over complexity, accuracy over approximation, and decisions backed by real data.

Analytics Career Begins
Started contracting in data analytics and business intelligence, building dashboards and financial models for corporate NZ clients.
First Investment Property
Purchased first NZ rental property. Immediately ran into the spreadsheet problem — and started building a better solution for personal use.
Portfolio Grows
Expanded portfolio and refined the dashboard system. Other investors started asking about the tools. Recognised the gap in the market.
BI SmartStudio™ Launches
Officially launched bismartstudio.com with the first suite of products — built for the same investors who had the same problem I had in 2021.
Growing the Suite
